The TTL sync cable is used to connect an external flash not mounted on the camera's hot shoe (working at a distance from the body). It allows you to remotely control the lamp while maintaining its full automation. By transferring all information from the camera to the flash, you have complete control of the scene lighting and take full advantage of the TTL flash function.
