GRAY CARD- SET OF THREE CARDS 5,4CM X 8,5CM

IN SET:

• white card 54x85mm

Each card included in the set is covered on both sides with a special material with a neutral color characteristic. The light reflected from it has exactly the same properties as incident light, so the cards can be used as a calibrated reference point in obtaining a white balance standard.

GRAY SIDE - reflects 18% of the incident light (so-called medium gray, almost exactly in the middle between black and white). The gray card allows you to accurately determine the exposure in difficult lighting conditions or when taking pictures of objects with a reflective surface (which is misleading to the light meter built into the camera).

WHITE SIDE -reflects 90% of incident light. It is a great tool for setting the white balance and getting the correct color reproduction in the photo.Indispensable in situations when the lighting of a given scene does not correspond to any of the white patterns programmed in the camera or when it is mixed and consists of light sources with different color temperatures - e.g. a room illuminated by a bulb (3200K), into which sunlight (5500K) enters through the window).

BLACK SIDE- it is covered with a material reflecting exactly 3% of the light. In combination with the gray and white cards, it is used to assess the contrast of the photographed scene.
